Estrangement in family is an awful reality; it's yet another glaring truth that shows us it's not supposed to be this way.

Instead of hiding from God in guilt and shame, Scripture invites us to hide in Him—finding freedom, forgiveness, and love in His compassionate embrace.

We must honor and celebrate mothers—despite their imperfections—recognizing their God-given role, forgiving past hurts, and choosing love, respect, and gratitude for the life they gave us.

As we approach Mother's Day, I want to remind you, dear mom, that it's okay to acknowledge when motherhood feels too heavy to carry. It's okay to cry out to God when you're overwhelmed. In fact, it's in those raw, honest moments of surrender that we often experience His presence most powerfully.

This Mother’s Day, be gentle, kind, and patient with yourself.

A moment of fear-driven impulse led me to chase a quick-fix skincare solution that backfired. This experience reminded me that true wisdom—rooted in discernment, patience, and faith—must guide our choices, not fear or insecurity.

Our primary source of information gathering that leads to wisdom should be from God’s Word. Before you are tempted to scour the web, scroll through media, or search through books in your pursuit of answers to your questions, start by asking the Lord for discernment as you prioritize godly wisdom over earthly knowledge.

With God, there is hope, and in what may seem like the darkest of hours, when despair tries to capture us, Jesus wants us to know that “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5).

The compassionate love of God embraces us, even when we stumble. We all receive grace upon grace in the hands of Jesus.
